Cut flower production has the potential to increase income for both small and large farms. We cultivate and market finest quality cut-flowers throughout the year. We have established farms in northeast India to grow these flowers. We specialise in monotoring cut flower farming, packaging, transportation and distribution in the market. We employ environmentally sound production techniques and increased farm diversification to maintain sustainable farming.
Anthrium
With many farmers, clubs and NGOs associate to grow the anthrium cut flowers in the northeast states in india. In the near future Himalayan Florica will be able to supply sufficient anthurium cut flowers throughout the year.
Carnation
Carnation cut flower is one of the most popular cut flowers in India and around the world. We plant thousands of carnation planting material in different parts of India.
We grow carnation in Himalchal and Uttarchal in India, because the climatic conditions in these states are favourable. Carnation cut flower has many rich colour variations, which makes it the second largest selling cut flower in the world.
Lillium
We Import lilium bulbs From VWS Holland and grow in northeast India as the climate is favourable for the growth of lillium cut flower. We have our own outlets in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata through which we supply lillium cut flowers. Himaliyan Florica supplies 40% of lilium cut flower all over India and neighbouring countries like Nepal, Bangladesh and U.A.E, throughout the year.
Rose
Himalayan Florica grows rose cut flowers in 10 hectares of land in Sikkim and Meghalaya. The demand for rose is very high and we are still short of meeting the demand. We supply rose cut flowers of international standard quality. We have already planted fifty thousand planting material in different parts of India. From June 2010 new flush will be started so that we can go for international market for rose.
